Somerstock isn’t just about the music – it’s about creating a fantastic day out for the whole family, and this year’s Kids’ Zone was bursting with fun from start to finish!

From colourful face painting and creative crafts to the giant inflatable slide, bouncy castle, silent disco, soft play, magical stilt-walking fairy and the always-amazing Rainbow Bubble Man, there was something to keep children of all ages entertained. Seeing so many smiling faces, dancing feet and bubbles floating across the festival site was simply brilliant!

The best part? Every single activity was completely free for families to enjoy.

That was only possible thanks to the incredible support of Somerset Community Foundation and Somerton Town Council, whose funding helped us create a packed programme of entertainment for our youngest festival-goers. Their generosity meant families could simply relax, enjoy the day and make memories together without worrying about extra costs.

A huge thank you also goes to all of our entertainers, activity providers and volunteers, who brought so much energy, enthusiasm and magic to the Kids’ Zone. You helped make it one of the busiest and happiest parts of the festival!

Moments like these are what Somerstock is all about – bringing our community together, creating unforgettable memories and making sure there’s something for everyone.

We loved seeing so many happy faces… and we can’t wait to do it all again in 2027! 🎉

One of the things that makes Somerstock so special is the opportunity to support the incredible charities that work tirelessly in our communities.

Throughout the festival, visitors had the chance to meet the teams from Talk Club, Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance, and St Margaret’s Hospice. Their stalls were busy throughout the weekend, giving festival-goers the opportunity to learn more about the vital work they do, ask questions and find out how they can get involved or offer their support.

We’re incredibly grateful to all three charities for being part of Somerstock 2026 and for the dedication, compassion and commitment they show every day. Their presence helped make the festival about more than just great music and entertainment – it was also a chance to celebrate and support organisations that make a real difference to people’s lives.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat, made a donation or simply took the time to find out more. Your support means so much, and we’re proud that Somerstock continues to bring our community together for such worthwhile causes.

What an incredible moment. Playing Hey Jude at Somerstock literally just as Jude Bellingham equalises for England. Goosebumps! ✨

Somerstock 2026… you were incredible💃🎤🎶

A massive thank you to everyone that came out to brave another scorcher of a year with us!
2 days, 6 DJ’s, 12 bands/ artists, 20 vendors, countless pints poured and a HUGE amount of effort from our volunteers across both the planning committee and the lovely stewards who helped us on the day, and we’ve done it!
We’ll be continuing to share highlights from the weekend as they come in but for now, we hope you all had an fantastic weekend, send us your photos and tag yourself in ours and we’ll see you next year 🎉🧡
Over the weekend we got to see the impact Somerstock has made, by chatting to a lovely couple who first joined us four years ago, specifically to see The Blockheads, and haven’t missed a year since!
The lovely Sue and Phil travel up from Newquay every summer, and they were actually the very first camper van to roll onto the site at 11:00 AM on Friday!🚐
It’s stories like theirs that make all the hard work behind the scenes completely worth it. Thank you both for making the trip year after year, we’re so glad you enjoy it as much as we do🧡
