With a choice of bars offering everything from craft ales and cocktails to alcoslush, and street food from all corners of the globe, you’re sure to find something to tickle the taste buds. We have plenty of tasty treats too for those with a sweet tooth.

Food & Drink On Site

In line with other festivals, food and drink may not be brought onto the site. However, we understand that families with young children and people with specific dietary needs may wish to bring appropriate food and snacks. We are perfectly happy with that!

Parking

Limited onsite parking is available to buy in advance.   Please note that in the event of bad weather this have may move offsite, but will still be nearby. Parking is also provided for disabled visitors.

Camping

Limited onsite camping is also available at extra charge for the nights of 7th and 8th July.  Campers will have access to toilets and fresh water but there aren’t any showers. Food will be available at the festival on Friday evening and on Saturday. Normal rules will apply, no stoves and fires etc but please see our full terms and conditions for the details.  We are able to accept tents with some Campervans and mobile homes upon request.

Here are some things to bear in mind to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable day at Somerstock…

  • Make sure you bring all your tickets with you including parking and camping, so we know where to direct you
  • On Friday 7th July Somerstock gates open at 5pm, music ends at 11.00pm and gates close at 11.30 so if you’re not leaving your vehicle overnight, it will need to be removed by then. Latest entry or re-entry time is 10.00pm
  • On Saturday 8th July Somerstock gates open at 12 noon, music ends at 11.00pm with the silent disco ending at 11.45 when the event closes, gates close at midnight. Latest entry or re-entry time is 10.00pm
  • Please do not bring any glass bottles etc into the site. There will be searches!
  • Food may only be brought in to Somerstock for children and people on special diets. There is a wide variety of delicious food on sale covering all tastes and most dietary requirements.
  • Please remember that no animals except registered assistance dogs are permitted on site
  • Some tickets for Somerstock may be available at the gate, but please check this website for the latest information
  • The Somerstock organisers have leased the Recreation Ground for the duration of Somerstock. They have the final say on who may be admitted, and will deal with any antisocial behaviour, with the power to eject people from the site.
  • Remember to dress for the weather!

Covid-19 Statement

Hopefully this statement will not be necessary this year! However, should any further regulations be announced we would like to reassure all festival-goers that Somerstock will be Covid-secure and we will comply with any regulations which may be in place at the time to ensure the safety of all our visitors.

In the event of us having to cancel or postpone the event, all tickets can either be rolled over to 2023 or will be refunded in full.

Pre-order your picnic

Take the hassle out of the planning and pre-order a picnic to collect on the day. Simply pop in to Fresh Nosh any time before Thursday 7th July, check out their special Somerstock Picnic menu, make your payment and simply collect from their stand at Somerstock any time after 11.30 am on the day.

Somerstock offers lots of activities to keep younger visitors entertained on Saturday in our Kids’ Zone whilst our great bands are strutting their stuff.
