Prepare for a festival set like no other — The Beatles Dub Club is where the music of the Fab Four meets full-on global groove. Curated by DJ Chris Arnold, along with a full live brass section, this special DJ experience takes Beatles classics and re-imagines them through a kaleidoscope of musical styles: reggae, ska, Latin, hip-hop, dub, funk, house, and even drum & bass.
Chris Arnold is a revered figure on the UK festival circuit, known for his tasteful selections and genre-bending sets. With The Beatles Dub Club, he dives deep into the world of Beatles sampling, cover versions, and remix culture — from shadowy dub versions of “Come Together” to funked-up takes on “Get Back”, and ska-rhythmed versions of “Help!”. Think of it as a Magical Mystery Tour across decades and continents, landing unexpectedly in beat-driven dance-floors.
The roots of the concept are rich. In 2009 the US reggae outfit Easy Star All‑Stars released Lonely Hearts Dub Band, a full-album reinterpretation of the Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. The Beatles Dub Club builds on that lineage — but live, and with a live DJ vibe rather than an album cycle.
Whether you’re a lifelong Beatles fan or just someone who loves to dance, this set promises something fresh — the songs you know, transformed into the rhythms you’ll love.
Get ready to dance, sing, and discover your favourite Beatles tunes all over again.
The Blue Moon delivers vintage rock’n’roll with a modern edge — and plenty of live-wire energy. Born from the shared pastime of teaching day jobs and late-night gigs, they’ve spent countless sweaty pub sets, festival stages and European bar tours perfecting their craft.
2025 marked a major milestone: the release of their second EP “So Glad”, recorded at Scotland’s renowned Chem19 Studios with producer Jamie Savage. The band say this collection reflects a maturing songwriting voice — lyrics that explore self-reflection, joy and life’s complexities — while retaining the driving melodies and vintage production that their fans love.
Live, The Blue Moon are an unstoppable force. Expect horn-laced rock’n’roll, retro vibes, infectious hooks and an audience that dances from the first chord. With their set list anchored in 1950s-style swagger but delivered with the polish of today’s live music scene, they’re the perfect storm of nostalgia and excitement.
